Strength & Conditioning Coach position
Mazenod Old Collegians Football Club is returning to the field in 2022 with a key objective of ensuring our playing groups reach their full fitness potential.
A key component of our fitness strategy is to engage a dedicated and focussed Strength & Conditioning Coach to champion our approach. We’re looking for an energetic and driven individual to join our club in what promises to be an exciting year ahead.
Successful candidates will demonstrate:
- An ability to work with small teams
- An ability to build positive working relationships with key stakeholders
- Effective communication skills, working closely with players, coaches and staff
- Experience working with community sporting teams
- An ability to lead and maintain high standards across all teams
Key responsibilities:
- Embrace and promote the club’s vision and values
- Plan and implement player strength and conditioning programmes
- Manage player game day and weekly training schedules
- Manage injury rehabilitation sessions and programmes for individual players
- Liaise closely with our Vice President of Football and Director of Coaching
Preferred experience and qualifications:
- Experience working with athletes, community sport and AFL/AFLW/VFL/VFLW playing groups
- ASCA Level 1 Strength & Conditioning Coach accreditation
- Bachelor of Exercise Science, Certificate IV in Fitness or similar qualification
